Slovenia has Become a Welcome Partner of the International Community, says Peterle
New York, 17 September - "Slovenia has presented itself at the 55th session of the UN General Assembly as an active country, which acts with responsibility when dealing with projects on a global as well as regional level", said Slovene Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle after addressing the General Assembly in New York on Saturday. During his visit to the U.S., Peterle also had numerous bilateral meetings and took part in a joint initiative of the four successor states of the former Yugoslavia aimed at settling the issue of succession. Before returning home, Peterle also paid a visit to representatives of the Slovene community in Cleveland.
