Minister Peterle Visits Cleveland
Cleveland, 18 September - Slovene Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle concluded his one-week visit to the U.S. in Cleveland, where he met Slovene Consul Tone Gogala and Robert Tomsic, American businessman of Slovene origin. Representatives of all Slovene organisations in Cleveland and representatives of the city as well as the U.S. federal state of Ohio were also present. In his speech, Peterle said that he was pleased that the Slovene spirit continues to live on in Cleveland and thanked everybody for their support in the times when Slovenia struggled for democracy and future.
