EU Candidate Countries Discuss Consumer Protection
Tallinn, 18 September - In drafting and adopting legislation, Slovenia is following the EU's example and aims at protecting Slovene consumers to the same or higher degree than is shared by EU consumers. This was said by acting Director of the Slovene Consumer's Protection Office Mariana Jancar at a one-day meeting of representatives from ten Central and Eastern European EU candidate countries which took place in the Estonian capital of Tallinn on Monday.
