Slovene Tennis Player Tina Pisnik Out in First Round

Sydney, 19 September - Slovene women's player Tina Pisnik lost her first round singles match at the Sydney Olympic Games. Pisnik was defeated by Thailand's Tamarine Tanasugarn in straight sets 4:6 and 3:6, thus finishing her appearance at the Games. Wednesday will see the appearance of Slovenia's second women's player Katarina Srebotnik who will play against Slovak Karina Hubsudova.
