Bajuk Confirms Slovenia's Committment to Become NATO Member
Brussels, 19 September - Slovene Prime Minister Andrej Bajuk held talks with NATO Secretary General George Robertson in Brussels on Tuesday. Bajuk confirmed Slovenia's committment to become a NATO member, reassuring the NATO official and telling the press after the talks that the country is actively preparing for membership. Robertson was pleased with such an attitude, but refused to discuss in more detail the next round of NATO expansion.
