Two Plaques to Father of Slovene Literature to be Unveiled in Germany

Ljubljana, 19 September - To mark the 450th anniversary of the first Slovene book, two plaques to the man who wrote the book and is known as the father of Slovene literature will be unveiled in the German cities of Rothenburg on Friday and in Tuebingen a day afterwards. Primoz Trubar (1508-1586) was a Protestant priest who had to flee Slovenia in 1547 because of his Reformist ideas.
