Spik and Cop Justify the Favourites Tag

Sydney, 21 September - The Slovene double sculls team of world champions Iztok Cop and Luka Spik justified their tag of favourites with a victory in the first semi-final on Thursday. The Slovene pair finished with a time of 6:16.41, 3.99 seconds ahead of the German boat and 7.40 seconds faster than the Hungarian boat.
