President Kucan Receives Author of "Factor Four - Halving Resource Use"

Ljubljana, 21 September - Slovene President Milan Kucan on Thursday received Professor Dr. Ernst Ulrich von Weizsaecker, President of the Wuppertal Institute for Climate Environment and Energy and chair of the German parliamentary committee dealing with globalisation of the world economy and its challenges. Von Weizsaecker attracted much attention in 1995 after he published a book entitled "Factor Four - Halving Resource Use", which has been branded as one of the best literary philosophical achievements of the "eco-capitalism, President's office reported.
