Government Consents to Lorry and Bus Drivers' Demands
Ljubljana, 21 September - The government at its Thursday's weekly session decided to reduce excise duties on diesel oil by 11.3 percent and thus kept the promise given by the government negotiating team to the Union of Slovene Transporters (SAS) earlier this week. Other demands of the bus and lorry drivers were also met, so the SAS ceased all their activities regarding public protests and road blockages.
