Langerholc in 800m Semi-Finals, Sestak out in 400m

Sydney, 22 September - Brigita Langerholc qualified to the women's track and field 800m semi-finals after she was second in her preliminary heat with 2:01.89. Matija Sestak was only five hundreds of a second short of progressing to the 400m men's semi-finals as he ran 44.96 and achieved 33th time overall in the preliminaries.
