European Car Free Day 2000 Marked in 21 Towns Around Slovenia
Ljubljana, 22 September - Slovenia is joining the Car Free Day 2000 on 22 September, which aims at raising awareness of the people on ecology issues connected to over-usage of cars in every day life. The activities under the slogan "In Town Without My Car!", organised in Slovenia for the first time, will be launched in 21 towns around Slovenia, announced Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Andrej Umek.
