Delo Comments Rising Petrol Prices
Ljubljana, 23 September - Protests by transport workers against the high prices of petrol which began in France and quickly spread to all of Europe, including Poland, Sweden and even Norway, uncovered numerous paradoxes in Europe. The protests which paralysed economic activity, blocked traffic, dried up petrol pumps and caused numerous other problems for citizens, still received majority support from the public everywhere, writes the daily Delo on Saturday.
