118 Illegal Immigrants Apprehended in Maribor Region

Ljubljana, 24 September - In the Maribor region, NE Slovenia, a total of 118 illegal immigrants were apprehended from Friday night through Sunday morning, Maribor police reported. The majority of the apprehended were Iranian and Turkish citizens. All illegal immigrants asked for asylum and have thus been moved to the Asylum Centre in Ljubljana.
