Long Jumper Cankar Eliminated from Olympic Competition

Ljubljana, 25 September - Slovene long jumper Gregor Cankar failed to qualify for the final in the qualification stages of Olympic competition. Cankar, who was third at the World Championships in Seville in 1999, jumped 7.98 metres.
