SDS Answers Questions on Economy, Foreign Relations and Gov't Coalitions

Ljubljana, 25 September - The Slovene Press Agency posed three questions to several parties running at the upcoming general elections; the questions are:
1. Which issues from the social affairs and the economy were neglected until now and would have to be given more attention by the next government?
2. How should Slovenia manage relations with its neighbours? On which issues in negotiations with the EU should Slovenia keep its standpoints? Can Slovenia afford NATO membership, given the high costs involved?
3. Which parties or political factions present a possibility for a government coalition? What kind of a government coalition would have the most suitable and effective programme?
