ITF Begins Campaign Against Flag Benefits on Ships

Ljubljana, 25 September - The International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF) on Monday began a week-long campaign against ships with flag benefits in major European ports, among them the port of Koper. As part of the campaign, ITF inspector in Slovenia Branko Krznaric said that he will visit all ships which will arrive or are already anchored in the port of Koper during this week. Krznaric also touched upon the problems faced by employees of the Port of Koper and announced closer ties with one of the trade unions at the Port of Koper.
