Langerholc Just Misses Out on Medal, Sets National Record
Sydney, 25 September - Slovenia's Brigita Langerholc finished fourth in the final of the women's 800 metre run at the Sydney Olympic Games with a time of 1:58.51, a new Slovene national record. This is the best Slovene finish in track and field at the Sydney Games so far. The winner was Maria Mutola from Mozambique with a time of 1:56.15.
