August's Unemployment Rate Lower Compared to July

Ljubljana, 25 September - As many as 102,230 unemployed were registered at the National Employment Office in August, a drop of 2.1 percent over July and 12.4 percent less than in August 1999. In the first eight months of 2000, the number of unemployed persons was lower by 10.8 percent, compared to the same period last year.
