Swiss Citizen of Turkish Origin Released

The Koper District Court has decided to reject the request of Turkey to hand over Naci Muzaffer Oeztuerk, a 42-year old Swiss citizen of Turkish origin who has been jailed in Koper, coastal Slovenia, since 17 July, due to an international warrant for his arrest issued by a court in Istanbul. The court has established that not all conditions for the extradition were fulfilled, the chairman of the court, Damijan Florjancic, wrote in a press release on Monday.
