Slovenia Could Receive 576 Million Euros in Development Assistance From EU
Ljubljana, 27 September - In the period between 1994 and 1999 Slovenia received SIT 1.2 billion (5.74 million euros), while in the period between 2000 and 2002 it will receive SIT 2.7 billion (13 million euros) as part of the PHARE programme, it was revealed by Minister for Economic Relations and Development Marjan Senjur at Wednesday's press conference. According to Senjur Slovenia could also receive some SIT 120 billion (576 million euros) at the time of Slovenia's entry into the EU, depending on the result of Slovene negotiations with the EU.
