Olimpija Loses to Espanyol, Falls Out of UEFA Cup

Barcelona, 29 September - BARCELONA - Slovenia's Union Olimpija lost to Spanish Espanyol 2:1 in Thursday's return leg of the first round of UEFA Cup. The cumulative result is thus 3:2 for Espanyol who advances to the second round. The match in Barcelona was stopped early due to extreme weather conditions, but the UEFA officials decided that the result at the time of stoppage stands.
