Slovene 4 X 400 Men's Relay Team Out in Qualifying Stages

Sydney, 29 September - The Slovene men's relay team competing in 4 X 400 metre Olympic competition (Bostjan Horvat, Joze Vrtacic, Sergej Salamon, Matija Sestak) finished seventh and last in their qualifying group with a time 3:10.07, thus failing to qualify for the semi-finals. The Slovenes finished 31st overall, while the quickest team in the qualifiers was Nigeria with a time of 3:01.20.
