Two Candidates for Constitutional Court Judge and 22 for Ombudsman

Ljubljana, 29 September - Two candidates have applied for the post of Constitutional Court judge, namely Ciril Ribicic, professor of constitutional law and MP, and Bozidar Merc, a district court judge from Maribor. For the post of ombudsman there are as many as 22 candidates, the office of President Milan Kucan announced on Friday. Kucan will begin consultations about the candidates with the leaders of deputy groups after the new parliament has been elected.
