Project "Mosaic": Seminar on Protection of Cultural Rights of Minorities

Ljubljana, 29 September - Under the sponsorship of the European project Mosaic the Council of Europe and Slovene Ministry of Culture organised a two-day multilateral seminar on cultural diversity and protection of cultural rights of minorities, which started in Ljubljana on Friday. The project was initiated in 1998 by the Commission for cultural policy at the Council of Europe. Belgium, Switzerland, Great Britain and Slovenia are the countries that participate in Mosaic. The participants of the seminar who came from Albania, BiH, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldavia, and Romania were greeted by State Secretary to the Slovene Ministry of Culture, Ivan Pal. In his address he stressed that Slovenia could be an important donator to many European projects like Mosaic.
