Slovenia's Chief EU Negotiator Regrets Denmark's Decision

Ljubljana, 29 September - Slovenia's Chief Negotiator with the EU Janez Potocnik on Friday regretted the unsuccessful Danish referendum on the introduction of the euro. In a special statement for STA, Potocnik said that the referendum results in Denmark would not directly influence the EU enlargement process. This is a step that does not bring the neccessary strengthening of the Union and the single currency, and it can indirectly hamper the enlargement process itself, Potocnik told STA.
