London, 3 October - Given its two million population, and having won two gold medals at the Sydney Olympics, Slovenia has emerged the most successful country from this most important sporting event this year. This has been stated in an analysis of the 2000 Olympics in The Times. Slovenia has won a gold medal in men's double sculls (Iztok Cop and Luka Spik) and another one in the 50-metre rifle, 3-position (Rajmond Debevec).
