Radio of Ethnic Slovenes in Austria Strives for Survival
Klagenfurt, 3 October - Radio Agora, one of two radio stations of the Slovene ethnic minority in Austria's Carinthia, is struggling to make ends meet. The funds provided from the federal budget will be cut by a third this year, while next year theywill be stopped completely, and the radio is facing the threat of being forced to stop broadcasting, the management said in a press realise on Tuesday.
