Boris Pahor Receives Slovene Silver Honorary Warden of Freedom
Ljubljana, 6 October - Boris Pahor, a Slovene living in Italy's Trieste, was on Friday presented the Silver Honorary Warden of Freedom by President Milan Kucan. Pahor received the order of merit for his life's work, his ceaseless efforts for the freedom of Europe and against Nazism, for democratic and independent Slovenia and for the good of Slovenes abroad. Pahor received the award in the name of all who helped him on his path.
