Commissioner Verheugen Visits Slovene Stand at Expo 2000
Hanover, 6 October - European Commissioner for Enlargement Guenter Verheugen visited the Slovene stand at the Expo 2000 in Hanover on Friday. Verheugen used the opportunity to sign the guest book, writting in it that the the enlargement of the European Union will establish a new Europe, adding that he is satisfied that Slovenia will be a country in this new Europe. Verheugen wrote the comment in Slovene, it was reported from the Slovene representatives at Expo 2000.
