Japanese Princess Sayako Begins Four-Day Visit to Slovenia
Ljubljana, 8 October - Japanese Princess Sayako began her four-day visit to Slovenia on Sunday. Upon her arrival at Brnik Airport she was welcomed by a Slovene delegation headed by Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle. The Princess, the youngest and the only daughter of the Japanese imperial couple, was given a bunch of yellow orchids and small orange roses by Bojan Zupin, a primary school pupil who had this honour as an excellent pupil.
