Slovenia Will Soon Establish Diplomatic Relations with Yugoslavia, FM Peterle Says
Ljubljana, 10 October - Slovenia has not joined foreign representatives in visiting Belgrade after the recent change in power because the two countries have not established diplomatic relations yet, Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle said in a statement for a private television station on Tuesday. He was confident that the relations would be established soon, referring to today's telephone conversation between Prime Minister Andrej Bajuk and Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica.
