CEFTA Joint Committee Concludes Session in Warsaw
Warsaw, 12 October - A Slovene delegation led by Minister of Economic Relations and Development Marjan Senjur attended the regular annual session of the joint committee of the Central European Free Trade Area (CEFTA), which closed on Wednesday evening. Major points on the agenda included the study of possibilities to continue negotiations on the liberalisation of trade with agricultural products on the bilateral level between the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, and a review of protective measures introduced by individual CEFTA member countries, including Slovenia on the imports of pigs and pork from Hungary. It was agreed that the CEFTA summit will take place on 15 November in Warsaw.
