PM and Head of Telekom Sign Agreement on Project for Free Internet Access
Ljubljana, 13 October - Prime Minister Andrej Bajuk and Chairman of Telekom Slovenia Marjan Podobnik on Friday signed an agreement with a validity period of five years which signals the beginning of a project intended to give free Internet access to all educational and research institutions in Slovenia. The agreement is worth some SIT 390 million (1.8 million euros) annually and means that the whole schooling population (some 240,000) will be assured of Internet access.
