Venice Commission Adopts Report on Change to the Election System in Slovenia
Venice, 14 October - The CoE Commission for Democracy through Law, known as the Venice Commission, on Saturday adopted a report on the change of the election system in Slovenia. The report was adopted as a reply to a question filed by Slovene Prime Minister Andrej Bajuk. The report was prepared by three rapporteurs including the President of the Commission Antonio La Pergola and members Peter van Dijk and Sergio Bartole, and is of a confidential nature. The contents of the report will publically be known after Bajuk receives it.
