Hard Work Has Paid Off, Says ZLSD Leader

The President of the United List of Social Democrats (ZLSD), which according to preliminary results holds 12.19 percent of the votes (11 seats), attributes the party's success at the 2000 elections to the fact that the party "has worked hard for four years and now that has paid off". Bohur Pahor believes that it is too early to think about possible coalitions, but he is convinced that "at the symbolic mark of the year 2000 Slovenia deserves a government which would ensure to the country and to its people economic and social progress".
