Slovenes Consume Too Much Fat a Day
Ljubljana, 16 October - "Eating habits of Slovene adults are rather unhealthy given that their diet exceeds the recommended daily intake of fat by third," was revealed on the World Food Day at a news conference given by the director of the CINDI, a project promoting health and the prevention of heart and other chronic diseases. According to Jozica Maucec Zakotnik, Slovene adults' diet contains too much saturated fat, too many calories, too much salt, sweets as well as sweet drinks, but not enought fruit and vegetables.
