President Kucan Believes New Parliament Should Convene as Early as Possible
Ljubljana, 16 October - Slovenia's President Milan Kucan will do everything in his power so that the newly elected parliament could convene for its first session even before the end of this month and thus be able to start working and forming a new government as soon as possible, Kucan said in a statement for journalists on Monday. After Sunday's parliamentary elections the deadline for the first session of the new parliament is 4 November.
