Slovene Minority Representatives in the Italian Senate

Presidents of two umbrella organisations of the Slovene minority in Italy, Sergij Pahor and Rudi Pavsic on Tuesday in Rome met with senators Luigi Biscardi and Felice Besostri, the rapporteurs of the act to protect the Slovene minority. The Slovene officials said at the meeting that they would like to see the Italian senate adopt the act as soon as possible, and stressed that this should be done in this mandate, since the minority had been waiting for a long time for its status to be regulated by law.
