Italian Senate Commissions Conclude General Debate on Slovene Minority Protection Act
Rome, 18 October - ITALY/SLOVENIA/MINORITY
The constitutional and education commissions of the Italian Senate on Wednesday evening concluded a general discussion on the act to protect the Slovene minority in Italy. In the following days the chairmen of the two commissions will consult with representatives of political parties on the further course of the discussion on the act. It is expected that it will be proposed that the discussion on the act be put on the agenda of a plenary session of the senate.
