Co-operation with Turkey Beneficial for Slovenia, Says Potocnik
Ankara, 19 October - Slovenia's Chief Negotiator with the EU Janez Potocnik on Thursday in Ankara presented Slovenia's experience in its integration into the EU, the country's negotiating strategy and future expectations. As Potocnik told STA, the co-operation with Turkey is very beneficial to Slovenia in the political sense, since this country of almost 70 million people is one of those that play an important part in the international community. Akin Alptuna, an official of the Turkish Foreign Ministry in charge of European affairs, said he would like to see an improvement in the relations between Slovenia and Turkey in all areas.
