Birth Rate in Region of Ljubljana Decreases, the Population Ages
Ljubljana, 20 October - Birth rate in the region of Ljubljana with its 600,000 inhabitants (30% of Slovenia's population) has dropped from 13.3 to 9 per thousand persons over the last ten years, which places Slovenia below other developed European countries, according to the Ljubljana Institute for Health Protection.
