National Election Commission Counts Votes From Abroad, Eight Parties in Parliament
Ljubljana, 21 October - Five days following Sunday's general elections, the National Election Commission (RVK) on Friday begun establishing results from ballots which have arrived from abroad. The RVK counted the 2366 ballots that arrived from Slovene diplomatic missions abroad, while more than half of the expected 4700 ballots from abroad were sent by mail to district election commissions. All these votes will be taken into account when the final results are announced.
