Delo Advises Caution about Serb Democracy
Ljubljana, 25 October - Foreign diplomats following at each other's heels at the office of Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica have been expressing their thanks to him and to the Serbs for "rendering an important favour to Europe with the results of the presidential elections and the October revolution". But Serbia is facing unsurmountable problems in establishing democracy. A month after the elections the country has still not made it out of the swamp of seeming pluralism. All it has a month after the elections is the president of a federal state that has been on the verge of breaking up for some time now, Delo writes in Wednesday's edition.
