BS Intervenes on the Foreign Exchange Market Again

The Bank of Slovenia (BS) intervened again on the foreign exchange market on Monday in a bid to influence the growth of the foreign exchange rate. The central bank believes that the current growth of the exchange rate is still too low. The base exchange rate was fixed at SIT 210.40 (on Friday it was set at SIT 210.25) for one euro with the maximum difference of 0.2 percent. The measure takes effect on 2 November.
