Electricity Consumption on the Increase in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 2 November - Electricity consumption has been on the increase in Slovenia since January and is expected to increase further until the end of the year. This comes as a result of the imminent winter time as well as the ratio among different energy sources, which has recently changed in favour of electricity. The power industry has so far managed to cope with the growing consumption. All Slovene power stations generated 8.603 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in the first nine months of the year or by 2.5 percent more than in the same period last year, according to the October issue of a publication that specialises in the power industry.
