Slovene Policemen Leave Slovenia to Take Part in UNMIK
Brnik, 3 November - A group of 14 Slovene policemen and one policewomen left Slovenia on Friday to take part in the UN mission in Kosovo for a year. UNMIK's aim is to create civil authority in the province. The police team, who flew to the Macedonian capital of Skopje, will help bring about peace and restore order as well as train a Kosovar police force in addition to performing routine police tasks.
