The Second Slovene Synodal Meeting Concludes
Ljubljana, 4 November - Around 300 representatives of three Slovene dioceses of the Roman-Catholic Church on Saturday concluded a discussion on a synodal document entitled Choose Life. After around three years, when the preparations for the Slovene synod first started, the synodal assembly at a two-day plenary meeting which opened on Thursday discussed subjects which still involved problems. These issues included religion classes and their inclusion into the education system, the sacrament of confirmationl, and charity in Church, the assistant bishop of Maribor and member of the synodal secretariat Anton Stress told the press after the synod closed.
