Coalition Talks Reach a Peak in the Afternoon
Ljubljana, 6 November - The talks on a new government coalition will reach a peak this afternoon with separate meetings of the councils of LDS, DeSUS and SMS. The supreme bodies of the mentioned political parties, meeting behind closed door, are expected to vote on the cooperation agreement offered by the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia to the parties of the retired people (DeSUS) and the youth (SMS). The coalition talks will also be discussed this afternoon by the leaders of ZLSD as well as by the SLS+SKD council. The leader of the latter, Franc Zagozen, is expected to meet in the evening with the LDS leader, Janez Drnovsek.
