Banks to Increase their Nominal Capital

Due to the change of the ratio between the Slovene tolar and the euro, the council of the Bank of Slovenia at Tuesday's session increased the lowest amount of the nominal capital of commercial banks from SIT 1 billion (4.7 million euros) to SIT 1.1 billion (5.2 million euros). The lowest volume of nominal capital of savings banks was increased from SIT 186 million (886,000 euros) to SIT 220 million (1 million euros).
