Progress Report is Favourable, Criticism Has Been Expected, Slovenia's Chief Negotiator Says
Ljubljana, 8 November - The report on the progress Slovenia has made over the past year towards full EU membership is favourable for the country, but the criticism contained in it has been expected, Slovenia's chief negotiator with the EU, Janez Potocnik, commented on the report released earlier in the day by the European Commission. Potocnik, who is at the same time acting Director of the Government Office for European Affairs, togehter with the head of the European Commission delegation in Ljubljana, Eric van der Linden presented the report to heads of parliamentary factions.
